Mother and Olivia's husband, Tim are the only
family members to witness her receive the masters
degree, but she proudly shows her degree to dad in
the hospital afterward. Dad has a knee
replacement Wed. He "thumbs up" & is so happy
for her daughter

2009 SCACA Hall of Fame for Bill Ramborger

The award as the above is said

William J. Ramborger

William J. Ramborger has served as Track & Field Coach at the S.C.
School for the Deaf & Blind in Spartanburg for 38 years, with the
track being named in his honor in 1988. His girls & boys track
teams have 799 total victories & 3 National Deaf Championships.
He has been named the National Deaf Track Coach of the Year
3 times, & the S.C. State Track Coach of the Year 2 times, &
served as the Deaf Olympic Coach 5 times. Coach Ramborger is
a 36 member of the SCACA, a Monroe, Washington native, &
a Gallaudet College graduate.
In addition, Bill is one of 6 high school coaches named to the
2009 induction class for the S.C. Athletic Coaches Assoication
Hall of Fame. He receives the honor on July 26, 2009 at the
group's annual awards banquet at the Charleston Area
Convention Center. This is the 17th induction class.
Bill is the 13th local coach to earn this honor.

Daughters, Amanda Cassidy, Olivia Christensen & her husband, Tim, Bill's wife, Camilla, Ronnie Riddle, S.C. Deaf Alumni Association of the Deaf President, Bill's good college friend, Rocco DeVito from VA all witness Bill receive the honor.
