12th Day of Castles along the Danube & Rhine

Arriving Cologne, Germany with a beautiful view of
St. Martin(left) & Cologne Cathedral(right) along Rhine River

Stormy Evening in Cologne

INTERESTING! The rod at the right of the stairway
is for bicycles to roll up and down.

Locks of Love(promises of "Happy Marriages")

Locks of Love on both of the fence sides at Hohenzollen Bridge
between the sidewalks and tracks.

Hohenzollen Bridge at Rhine River between Cologne & Deutz

Statue of Wilhelm II, emperor of Germany & Cologne Cathedral

See the stick man balancing on the pole next to Hohenzollen Bridge

Beautiufl Cologne Cathedral, Ludwig Museum, & Hohenzollen Bridge at evening

Cologne Cathedral at night

Cologne Cathedral

It is the only surviving building in Cologne, Germany
during the World War II.  Cologne had about 99%
damaged buildings over the city.
Thanks to the Allies for saving the beautiful cathedral!

The earlier & lively carving around the main entrance

Beautiful Nave

Cathedral Nave Windows circa 1300

Front of 13th Century Cologne Cathedral from Bargmanuer(Street)
There are many surroundings near it.
No room for Cologne Cathedral!

Bill & Camilla at Alter Market, the old marketplace with full of life.
The farther background is Cologne Cathedral.
