TRIP TO PENNSYLVANIA

I traveled about 1, 900 miles (SC, WVA, PA, MD,
VA, and NC) myself last Nov. 3-9, 2009. I enjoyed
driving and shooting lot of covered bridges and
grist mills plus some places.

L.L. Bean Store at Ross Park Mall
on the top hill, north of Pittsburgh, PA

McConnels Mill and Covered Bridge,
4o miles north of Pittsburgh, PA

One of my most "picturesque" covered bridge
and mill in the county I traveled in a whole week

McConnels Mill was built in 1868 after the first mill was down
from fire.

McConnels Mill Covered Bridge was built in 1874

Barronvale Covered Bridge (was built in 1830 and restored in 1902)
in Somerset County
New Lexington, PA

Hewitt Covered Bridge(was built in 1879) in Bedford County,
Hewitt, PA

Casseham River Bridge(was erected in 1813)
in Grantsville, MD

It is not used any more.

It is located near Boonsboro, MD
