Memorable Moments of 2012



Palmer Ryan Christensen, our 3rd grandson
was born on December 11, 2011, Sunday at
8:22pm. His weight was 7lbs. 1oz. & length
was 20 inches.  Both mom & son were healthy.


Pawpaw saw his grandson in a few days later
due to his colds.


Our 40th anniversary was given away by our
precious daughters at our house on Feb. 11.
January 8 is our wedding date.



TENNESSEE, SEC Champion in Nashville, TN
in early March.  Camilla met a lady from Georgia
who knows sign language.  Shame on us that
we never had a chance to introduce ourselves.

cut the shapes.  Had fun together.  Ethan will be a
good chef in a future.

Uncle Bill & Aunt Camilla came to see our nephew, Kurt,

Shab Row Bistro in Frederick, Maryland in April.
We had not seen in each other for 10 years.

The Cassidys & The Christensens spent the
weekend with us at our residence in June.  We had fun
together.  Our grandsons swam in the child pool &
played around the sprinkles. Also, enjoyed the
popsicles.

The deaf campers from PA, CT, MI, GA, IL, SC, MN, & TN 
 camped at River Planation RV Park in Pigeon Forge,
 Tennessee for a week in June.  We had a blast time.



67' TSD classmates at National Campvention of the Deaf
in Lebanon, Tennessee(James E. Ward Agricutlural Center). 
The 416 deaf campers from 31 states participated the event in June. 


72' Gallaudet classmates at National Campvention of the
Deaf in Lebanon, Tennessee.


Bill at US Olympic Track Trials in Eugene, Oregon for 10 days.
He is an avid track fan!

We, the deaf tourists traveled Russia, Baltic States, &
Finland for 2 weeks & had a marvelous & adventurous
journey together.  The photo was taken in Riga, Latvia.

Bill celebrated his 70th birthday on Oct. 25, given
by Camilla at the Kinzie's residence.


Our 40th Gallaudet Class Reunion at the front of 
Tower Clock/Chapel Hall of  Gallaudet University in
DC.  The new record is set for the 1972 class.
 83 class members showed up for the class reunion.

the house tour.  It was Camilla's first time to see inside the
President's house.  Very nice!

We took our grandsons, Ethan & Eli to
Greenville Zoo in November.


We camped at Riveredge RV Park in
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee(Great Smoky Mtns.)
for 2 weeks in November.  The Cassidys joined us
on the weekend.   We hiked to Laurel Falls
in such a beautiful sunny morning.

strenuous steep, rocky, rugged two-mile trail to
Chimney Tops.  Camilla had been there
several times since she was little.

Guess what?  Bill got 3 free Starbucks when he was the
50th in the line at 5 o'clock.  Of course, he got 2
 drinks himself.

We were on the 18th hole at Gatlinburg Golf Course in
Pigeon Forge near our RV Park.  We looked back in 1987
when we were young. The golf course is about
the same.  (Remember, I won the women's SEDGA champion).  


Camilla visited her parents' gravesite at Grandview
Cemetery in Maryville, Tennessee & had a silent
moment.  Then, visited Maryville, her birthplace
with fond memories.

during Thanksgiving. We missed their thanksgiving
feast...  However, we were thinking of them in
our prayers as we left for South Carolina.

them at their home for Thanksgiving on Friday.

Little Palmer had his 1st birthday party at the Christensens'
residence on Dec. 15.  His birthday is Dec. 11.


The Cassidys and The Christensens came to our
house for Christmas early and stayed with us
for 2 nights.  Santa had been good to us.

Cassidys' residence with his parents & grandparents
(Cassidy) as well as they had a big Christmas day.
